It wasn’t long ago I was spending yet another long weekend on the Samana Peninsula, strolling down the gorgeous, rugged, undeveloped Playa Rincon. It’s as gorgeous as ever–the whole peninsula is–and so I’m thrilled to see my latest contribution for CNN Travel published as part of a digital feature titled “A Year of the World’s Best Beaches.”

March: Playa Rincon, Samana Peninsula

Click on the month of March in the CNN feature to find my write up about Playa Rincon, complete with insider tips. You can continue on to view 11 more stunning stretches around the world, by map or by best timing–a pretty nifty tool.

And in case you needed more convincing or visual reminders, here’s a recent DR Visitor Youtube clip below – sit back, click play and travel down the length of Playa Rincon with me.
