I’ve just returned from a packed week in the Punta Cana area (Bavaro, Cap Cana, Cabeza de Toro, Downtown, and more), revisiting favorites (I’ve been in this area three times already over the past year), experiencing new hotels, restaurants, shops, and activities for Moon Dominican Republic 2019. And finding new ways for you to escape the resort should you decide to stay in this region.
I also spent time up north in Miches – and was reminded of what a stunning, undeveloped area it is. A quick stop at Montaña Redonda was a blast, but I also checked a few remote beaches in the area (one of which will soon be the home of a new five-star Club Med resort to open late 2019 – I’m so glad I captured the scenery just days before building was about to commence).
I am limited in what material I can share for now, since it’s all for the book and for articles – but I’ll try to post some photos along the way! Later in the year, there will be blog posts on some of the places I visited and people I encountered. With lots of video footage, of course.
But remember that for now, I’ve been sharing IG and FB stories from the road —those who signed up have been privvy to some of the new spots I saw in Punta Cana/Bavaro (like the new live music scene), including views of the area’s indisputably beautiful beaches.
You can also find all my posts by looking up the hashtags #MoonDR2019 or #MoonDominicanRepublic
I hit the road again tomorrow – see you on IG along the way, with an impromptu live dispatch this week. You’ll want to stay tuned for this gorgeous beach and inland area.
Feliz Domingo from the DR!
